I’ve always believed that home should feel like your favorite place in the world. Growing up, I moved around a lot — change was constant — and creating a sense of comfort became something I had to learn early. Personalizing my space helped me feel grounded, and that simple act sparked a love for transforming environments into something meaningful and deeply personal.

That passion eventually led me back to interior design in a bigger way. I pursued my Bachelor’s degree at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, a step that reminded me that there are no limits to what we can create when we lead with purpose and determination.

Before founding Meraz Design Studio, I spent years on the creative side of retail — designing floor plans, visual displays, and immersive experiences that made people feel something the moment they walked in. Those years shaped my belief that great design starts with people — with listening, adapting, and crafting spaces that bring ease, beauty, and joy into everyday life.
